Local judges, attorneys and criminal justice professionals will decide who wins as the teams wrestle over key legal issues, including whether government surveillance using high-tech drones is subject to the requirements of the Fourth Amendment prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures and whether virtual life sentences for juveniles convicted of non-homicide crimes violate the Eighth Amendment prohibition on “Cruel & Unusual Punishment.”
