Starting a new job and earning your first paycheck is exciting—but understanding where your money goes can sometimes be confusing. Join Broadview Federal Credit Union at the Thrive Hub to learn how to make sense of your paycheck and build confidence in managing your money as you enter the workforce. In this session, we’ll cover:
- The difference between gross and net income
- How taxes and payroll deductions impact your take-home pay
- How to read and understand your paystub
- Important employment forms, including the I-9, W-2, and W-4
Whether you’re preparing for your first job or getting ready to enter the workforce, this session will give you the knowledge you need to better understand your paycheck and make informed financial decisions.
