Andrew Yang rose to national prominence in the 2020 presidential race, championing Universal Basic Income and data‑privacy reforms. He later ran for NYC mayor, left the Democratic Party to become an Independent, and co‑founded the Forward Party in 2022.

His new book is Hey Yang, Where's My Thousand Bucks?: And Other True Stories of Staggering Depth (2026).
