This event aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences related to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), a method that utilizes symbols, gestures and devices to support individuals with speech or language comprehension challenges. 

Hosted by the University at Albany's Program in Linguistics & Cognitive Science (Department of Anthropology) in collaboration with the Speech and Hearing Sciences Student Association and PRC-Saltillo Northeast AAC Consultants.
