It's a coming-of-age drama set against the backdrop of Cold War anxiety in early 1960s London. Best friends Ginger and Rosa are inseparable - growing up together amid political protests, poetry readings, and the looming threat of nuclear war. As the world around them teeters on the edge of crisis, their friendship is tested by personal betrayals, shifting identities, and the intensity of first love.
