The UAlbany Maternal and Child Helath Program Presents: "Developmental origins of health disparities in children and families from marginalized populations" featuring Dr. Betty Lin, Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at UAlbany and JPB Environmental Health Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Lin will discuss how stress related to social position can influence health, well-being and development in children and families from marginalized populations. The presentation will explore the mechanisms through which stress affects health and highlight factors shaping risk and resilience.
