As stewards of data, knowledge and access, information professionals work across sectors to connect people, technologies, and ideas.
This presentation explores the future roles of information professionals through three key themes:
1) Information ecosystems and interdisciplinary collaboration
2) Ethical leadership and equity
3) Preparing people to use and understand information in a changing world
Examine how they navigate complex challenges, including misinformation, data restrictions and AI integration, while promoting inclusive and ethical practices. You will be invited to envision their future roles as leaders for empowering communities through responsible management of information and data, information literacy skill-building and supporting informed decision-making.
