Falconer Lecture Series Presents: Jerrold Cline from GE Aerospace Research

 

This free in-person or virtual lecture features Jerrold Cline, a principal scientist at GE Aerospace Research. Cline currently leads a team focused on exploring strategies to reduce climate impacts across the aviation ecosystem. The lecture will be Climate Impact of Aviation. held in the Shared Training Room at ETEC as part of ASRC’s Falconer Lecture Series. You can also tune in via Zoom.

 

Jerrold Cline leads a team at GE Aerospace’s Research Center in Niskayuna, NY, focused on exploring reducing CO2 emissions through new engine technology, advancing alternative fuels and studying non-CO2 emissions, such as contrails and NOx. The research team also works closely with GE Aerospace engineering to leverage scientific insights into next generation engine programs. Jerrold has over 25 years of research and development experience in the aerospace, finance and telecommunications industries. Jerrold has an B.S. in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cornell University and an MBA from University of Rochester.
