French-English Bilingual Public Reading at the Albany Public Library 

Students will explore the many benefits of reading bilingual stories to children. As part of this project, Lab participants will volunteer at the Albany Public Library to read bilingual stories aloud to small groups of children. Heritage French speakers will draw on their bilingual upbringing, while other French program students will apply their developing proficiency in French to support children’s language development, literacy, and cultural awareness.
