Dr. Laura Haynes is a Professor in the Center on Aging and the Department of Immunology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her research focuses on how aging affects immune responses, particularly to influenza. She serves as the Chief Editor of Frontiers in Aging, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Gerontological Society of America, and leads the Biomarker and Preclinical Studies Core at the UConn Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center.
