About this Event
Join the Digital Forensics Association (DFA) and the Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) for "Advanced Website Building", where we'll be picking up where we left off from our last "Creating a Cyber Portfolio" technical workshop.
For those who either did not finish their cyber portfolio or did not attend the last workshop, we will teach you how to build your own cyber portfolio using GitHub and Jekyll. Then, you'll learn how to create posts on this portfolio. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an expert, as this event is open to all students regardless of experience level!
Why attend?
You’ll be able to build your very own cyber portfolio to showcase your skills and projects to employers. Your cyber portfolio can be used to document your journey as you develop skills learned in class. You’ll learn how to use YAML in CI/CD environments like GitHub.
For this event, you can either bring your own computer to work on, or you can utilize one of the computers in the classroom. We hope to see you all there!
