 Rasheed\, explores themes of language\, memory\, and the production of Bla
 ck knowledge through her large-scale text-based installations\, videos\, s
 ound works\, and drawings. Her work interrogates historical narratives and
  archives.\n\n \n\nRasheed has had solo exhibitions at KW Institute for Co
 ntemporary Art\, Berlin\; the Art Institute of Chicago\; and Kunstverein H
 annover\, among other institutions\, and her awards include a 2021 Guggenh
 eim Fellowship and 2022 Creative Capital grant. Additionally\, she is the 
 author of five artist books\, founder of the consultant business and micro
 grant organization Orange Tangent Study\, and founder of the digital archi
