Historical Reflections on Antisemitism in Our Times: Rethinking Approaches to Antisemitism and the Legacy of the Holocaust
 

A lecture given by: Magda Teter, Professor of History and Shvidler Chair in Judaic Studies at Fordham University.


A leading scholar of Jewish–Christian relations and antisemitism, she has authored several influential books, including Jews and Heretics in Catholic Poland, Sinners on Trial, and Blood Libel, which received multiple prestigious awards. Her recent works examine the historical roots of antisemitism and the recovery of Jewish lives through archival research. Teter has published widely in multiple languages and contributed essays to major public outlets. A recipient of numerous fellowships, she currently serves as President of the American Academy of Jewish Research.
