About this Event
1400 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12222
All are welcome to join Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter and Women in Science and Health (WISH) to celebrate International Women’s Day for a networking and an inspirational learning experience!
The event kicks off with Pizza lunch at noon and an award-winning movie, Picture a Scientist. Nancy Hopkins, who is featured in the movie, will be visiting UAlbany later this spring!
We will have women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) across the University and industry partners, including UAlbany alumni, to share their personal success journeys and professional and leadership experiences. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in engineering and science to network with others. Light refreshments will be provided as well.
