The UAlbany History Department’s 2025 Janice D. and Theodore H. Fossieck Lecture welcomes award-winning presenter, Professor Jack Bouchard, from Rutgers University who will give a sneak preview of his forthcoming book, "Terra Nova: Food, Water, and Work in an Early Atlantic World" by Yale University Press. Bouchard is interested in the study of global foodways in the premodern world and his first book explores the northwest Atlantic in the sixteenth century.
