Description: This course is intended for new or experienced clinicians to enhance their knowledge regarding what is normal and healthy related to children’s sexual behaviors and how to recognize signs and symptoms of sexual abuse. This course will also discuss how to intervene in a way that keeps youth safe. It should be noted that graphic examples of sexual abuse or youth sexualized behaviors will NOT be included in this workshop, as the goal is to discuss this material in a safe, minimally triggering way.
