Description: This workshop, titled “Motivational Interviewing: Beyond the Basics,” is a review of concepts and an update of changes to the model in the past decade, based on new research and insights gained. This workshop embraces MI's application to a broad use of behavior changes ranging from health behaviors to substance use. This workshop is intended for participants seeking an intermediate to advanced level of Motivational Interviewing training.
