Description: This course provides an introduction to the neurodiversity paradigm and the intersection of autistic and trans/non-binary and LGBQIA+ identities. We will unwind neurotypical-centric interpretations of neurodivergent experience and behavior and build a functional understanding of the sensory, cognitive, and societal trauma experiences and responses of neurodivergent people, with a focus on trans and queer autistic experiences.
