Description: In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Hawai’i artist Darius Homayounpour will hold a lecture to discuss the history of indigo and indigo-dyeing in various cultures. This will be followed by a demonstration in which attendees will be able to participate in creating a sample of cloth dyed with indigo using various shibori or shaped resist techniques.
