Description: This presentation will focus on appropriate screening, preparation, strategies for administration, integration, proposed mechanisms, and "psychadelic exceptionalism." Attendees will learn highlights of the history of psychadelics, reasonable expectations of outcomes based on published meta-analytic results, prominent models and their (frequently limited) empirical support, and defensible strategies for using these molecules to address the symptoms of common disorders.
