Description: This seminar will introduce an understanding of trauma and its effects on the whole child. Topics addressed include the causes, assessment and strategies for working with students who have experienced trauma, specifically the research-based recommendations as outlined by the SAMHSA, OJJDP and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s Toolkit for Educators. Participants will receive a copy of Dr. Bashant’s book. Registrations after 7/28/22 will not receive the book in time for the workshop.
