Description: The continuing education workshop will focus on helping children build strategies and coping skills specific to anxiety. There will be an emphasis on the sources of anxiety and differentiating between treatment strategies used for children who have experienced trauma and chronic/complex trauma, versus children with anxiety disorders. Exploring where to start when dealing with anxiety and barriers to cognitive work with children will also be discussed.
